“I am so proud to be one of the greatest champions in the United States Senate for animal welfare and one of the issues I’ve been fighting for time and time again is to protect the Endangered Species Act. We must prevent the delisting of species that are still in danger, we must make sure that we don’t allow what is a mass extinction going on right now to continue. We must stop it. We have the power to do it. And to understand that it actually helps jobs, helps our economy. It helps the planet if we do this.
