Beth is a creative movement and dance teacher from New York that teaches in various centers, elementary schools; community centers ‘outreach programs and of course dance studios.
Beth often drives through rural areas and has watched the wild disappear and, as a consequence, the newly homeless herons flying overhead. What really hits home for her, and highlights the importance of pesticide regulation, are labels denoting safe drinking water in a local daycare center she frequents. Some children in the daycare are sick – with various abnormalities or tumors on what should be healthy adults. No one has officially said these children are sick from the pesticides in the water but she is wary to drink the water in these locations. For these reasons, Beth supports the Endangered Species Act ability to regulate pesticides as endangered wildlife provide important early signs of pesticide contamination in our environment.
