Rev. Mother Carol Calvert is an ordained Priest with the Independent Catholic Church of Antioch in Santa Fe, N. M., and volunteers passionately for the preservation of all species. In her parish and in her life Carol teaches those around her with her words and actions about the extinction crisis and the importance of protecting biodiversity.
She has a B.S. in Conservation of Natural Resource from the University of California, Berkeley, CA. Her mission as a Priest is to guide, teach and inspire others to truly honor the sacredness of all life, through prayer, music, meditation and active participation in sustainable living practices.
She is a strong advocate for the Mexican Gray wolf and has had many letters published in New Mexico papers voicing her support for the wolf and the Endangered Species Act.
